Elmira's Arctic League Looking For 2024 Christmas Season Bell Ringer

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- With the holiday season around the corner, the Arctic League is searching for a bell ringer from Chemung County to help bring holiday joy to all.

The Arctic League is looking for kids between the ages of 6 and 12 who will apply for the youth ambassador role for the 2024 Arctic League Christmas Campaign and other roles at various functions. 

The events that the Youth Ambassador will support include:

• Opening the 'Big Book,' (Monday, November 12th)
• Ride on the Arctic League entry for Elmira's Christmas parade (Friday, November 29th)
• Assist with the Arctic League annual broadcast at Mandeville Hall at the Clemens Center (Sunday, December 1st)
• Help with packing at League Headquarters in December
• Participate in the closing of the 'Big Book,' in mid to late December.

Interested applicants should personally write to: Arctic League Inc., P.O. Box 113, Elmira, NY 14902. The letter is required to be written and signed by the candidate explaining the reasons they want to help the Arctic League. 

The deadline for the applications is Friday, October 18th.
