Replacement SNAP Benefits Still Available for Food Lost During Debby

(WENY) -- If you purchased food with SNAP benefits that were lost during a power outage, flood, or fire, you may be eligible for replacement SNAP benefits to help replenish your food supply. Below are the details on what you need to know. 

How to Apply:

• Contact your local County assistance office or call the Statewide Customer Service Center at (877)-395-8930
• Complete the required form, indicating how much food was lost

The law allows you to receive up to one month's replacement SNAP benefits. In Tioga, Potter, and Lycoming Counties, the deadly to apply has been extended to Monday, September 9th, for those affected by Tropical Storm Debby.
