ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The City of Ithaca is asking the community to help select projects for officials to submit for their Downtown Revitalization Initiative application.

In July, Ithaca initially asked for interested parties to draft potential plans to submit for $10 million in funding for improvements to the downtown area.

The funding would also be used to upgrade developments, invest in infrastructure and build new housing.

The city is hosting an in-person workshop to go over the projects on Sept. 10th at 5:30 p.m. at the Tompkins County Public Library. Residents can also submit their input online here.

The meeting will cover the 15 projects submitted during the city's submission period. The City is also seeking feedback on potential streetscape upgrades along the W State/MLK Jr. Street corridor.
