Illicit cannabis seized from two Corning sticker shops

CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- Two Corning sticker shops were busted by law enforcement Wednesday for allegedly selling weed without a license.

Corning Police say they seized illegal marijuana from Mosa's, located on 31 East Market St. and Gas City Glass, located on 110 Bridge St. According to police, large amounts of flower, edible and concentrate cannabis, money and business ledgers were taken from both businesses.

Both stores have been ordered to remain closed by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management. If the stores reopen, they could face fines and be subject to civil penalties.
