Corning Salvation Army to Host Anniversary Barbecue

CORNING, NY (WENY) -- The Corning Salvation Army is inviting the community to its anniversary celebration being held on Sunday. 

The community service agency is hosting a 140th anniversary barbecue on September 8th, at the Nasser Civic Center in Corning.

The event runs from 1PM until 4PM, and is $15 per person, which includes barbecue by Corning Catering, live music, and an auction. Proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army's programs and services in the Corning area.

Tickets can be purchased at the Corning Salvation Army at 32 Denison Parkway East, or Brown's Cigar Store at 6 West Market Street.
