Chemung Co. gets grant to fix up Harris Hill Pool

BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Chemung County was awarded a grant from New York State to rehabilitate the Harris Hill Pool, according to Chemung County Executive Chris Moss.

The county is getting $198,739 under the New York Statewide Investment In More Swimming program, to replace the pool liner and other projects.

The program, also known as SWIMS, was established in New York's 2024 budget to increase swimming amenities statewide.

The Harris Hill Pool is located within the Harris Hill grounds at 599 Harris Hill Road.
