(SAYRE, PA) -- Guthrie has awarded a $10,000 grant to the B/S/S/T Area Agency on Aging, Inc.
The money is going to a program run by the Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, and Tioga area agencies on aging.
According to the hospital network, the service provides food to about 350 people over the age of 60 in the area.
The funding aims to help the AAA’s Meals on Wheels program to fight food insecurity.
The funding was given to the agency as part of Guthrie's Community Benefit Grant Program
