TIOGA COUNTY, PA (WENY) -- Pennsylvania State Representative Clint Owlett, along with Tioga County Commissions Marc Rice, Sam Van Loon and Shane Nickerson hosted a flood recovery update on Facebook live, sharing information about assistance and resources for affected communities.
The commissioners and state representative thanked the community for their outpouring of support in the form of donated items, in the form of water, cleaning supplies, clothing and food.
Those who are in need of assistance with basement clean up, leaking roof, downed trees or other damage, please reach out to the Crisis Clean-Up line at 844-965-1386 to be placed on a list for volunteer assistance.
As of Monday, damage assessment teams are moving along the Route 49 corridor, continuing to review damage to homes and other structures. To request a damage assessment, please call the Tioga County Emergency Operations Center at 570-724-9110.

MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES:
- Mental health professionals will be arriving to help provide psychological support to those in need, staged at the Knoxville and Westfield Fire Departments.
Representative Clint Owlett also discussed the concern brought up regarding creek and stream management in Tioga County. Owlett said this most recent flood event has brought the issue up to a higher level in the state capitol.
