NEWFIELD, N.Y. (WENY) -- A former Ithaca City Central School District teacher's aide is accused of sending inappropriate images to children and was arrested Monday.
According to New York State Police, 24-year-old Austin J. Kuczek of Newfield was charged with two counts of disseminating indecent material to minor, a felony.
Troopers say an investigation revealed that Kuczek sent images to children under the age of 17. Troopers say he was also a former board member for Newfield Central School District, and is currently the Recreation Director for the Town of Newfield.
Troopers say Kuczek was arrested and released, and is due back in Newfield Town Court on March 16th.
