Vacant home destroyed after fire on Warner Rd. in Millerton
MILLERTON, PA. (WENY) -- A vacant home was destroyed after it caught on fire in Millerton.
Firefighters were initially called out to the blaze on Warren Road around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night, according to a Facebook post by the Millerton Fire Company.
Once the fire was extinguished, an excavator was brought in to tear down the rest of the house and help find hot spots, according to the Lawrenceville Fire Department.
No one was injured during the blaze.
Millerton, Big Elm, Lawrenceville, Webb Mills and Pine City Fire Departments all responded to the scene. Crews left the site of the blaze around 3:30 a.m. on Memorial Day.
