Troopers make arrest in Allegany County gun store burglary
GREECE, N.Y. (WENY) -- New York State Police say they caught one of the suspects responsible for burglarizing a gun store.
Troopers say 31-year-old Michael Argento of Greece, New York, was charged with burglary. His arrest came after a search warrant was served at his home in the Rochester area, and a seasonal home in Willing New York.
Argento was sent to the Allegany County Jail on $100,000 bail.Troopers say Argento, and two other people they're still looking for, broke into the Shongo General Store in Willing back on March 21st in the early morning hours. Willing is about 30 minutes west of Troupsburg.
Thirteen long guns and five handguns were stolen in the heist. But there's no word yet if any of those guns were recovered after the announcement of Argento's arrest.
