1/2
ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The New York State Police in Ithaca and Homer are looking for the public's help identifying two people who allegedly used fake credit cards.
The information on the bogus cards was taken from the rightful owners with a credit card skimmer. A skimmer is a device that can read and store information from the magnetic stripe on a credit or debit card.
The pair in question used the stolen credit card info to make purchases at the Wal-Mart in Watkins Glen, and in Painted Post. The purchases were made back in September 2017.
If you have any information on this case, or the identity of the people picture, you asked to call NYSP at (607) 346-4441, and mention case #7947954.
