This isn't how it was supposed to happen.
The Elmira Jackals lost game 3 of their best of seven series with Cincinnati 4-2, putting them on the brink of elimination.
Elmira actually took a 1-0 lead into the second on Chris Korchinski's 5th goal of the playoffs. But the Cyclones scored a shorthanded goal midway through the second, and the floodgates opened from there. They would actually add another shorthanded goal in the third to put the game away.
Mike Sgroi scored late in the third to make the score 4-2, but it was too little too late.
Game four is at first arena on Friday night.
