Medicaid Reimbursements For Pharmacies
Ted Fioraliso
Saturday, October 17, 2009
New York State's Medicaid program will now reimburse Medicaid-enrolled pharmacies that administer seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccines to Medicaid enrollees.
Gov. David Paterson says flu activity in the state is now widespread, with more than 50% of New York counties reporting flu cases.
Last week, county health departments, hospitals, and community health centers outside New York City received more than $91,000 doses of the H1N1 vaccine.
