ELMIRA -- There’s a benefit this weekend for the Elmira boy who's fighting a severe case of the swine flu.
     8-year-old Elijah Nist has been on life support in a Rochester hospital since last Monday.  As of Friday afternoon, Eli's lungs are working a lot better, and his kidneys are slowly starting to function again.  But, Eli is still in a drug-induced coma and is bleeding heavily.
     The spaghetti dinner benefit is set for Sunday, November 22, from 2-6 p.m. at the VFW on Keefe Street in Elmira.  It's $5 per person and $10 per family.
