ALFRED -- Fire officials have ruled last week’s fire in Alfred accidental.
      Fire broke out at 3 North Main Street last Thursday morning.  Alfred Sports Center and West Side Wines and Spirits burned to the ground.
     About 40 employees at those main street businesses are still out of work.  Several other businesses on the block were damaged, but can be saved.
     The fire also destroyed five student apartments upstairs.
